Labor-only is the budget-smart way to move: you rent the truck or container, and we bring a trained crew to do the part that wrecks backs and friendships. Our movers load rental trucks, portable containers, and trailers every week — padding furniture, building tight walls of boxes, and strapping every tier so nothing shifts on the highway.
On the other end, we'll unload it all, place furniture room by room, and reassemble the beds. You drive; we do everything else.
More than just loading
Labor-only crews also handle in-house jobs: moving furniture between floors, clearing rooms for new carpet or renovation, staging a house for sale, or shifting a home gym to the basement. If it's heavy and needs to be somewhere else, that's the job.
Honest hourly rates
Labor-only is billed hourly by crew size with a written quote up front. If you decide mid-plan you'd rather we bring the truck too, it's an easy upgrade to our full local moving service — and if you want help boxing up first, our packing crews have you covered.

What exactly is labor-only moving?
You provide the truck, trailer, or portable container — we provide the trained crew. We load, unload, or both, using professional padding and strapping so your rental arrives with everything intact.
Do you load rental trucks and PODS-style containers?
Yes — U-Haul, Penske, and Budget trucks, portable storage containers, and freight trailers. Loading a container or truck properly is a skill; a well-built load doesn't shift, and that's what you're hiring.
Can you help move furniture within my home?
Absolutely. In-house moves — rearranging rooms, moving furniture to the basement, staging a home for sale, or shifting things for new flooring — are quick labor-only jobs we do all the time.
How many movers do I need?
Two movers handle most apartments and small containers; three or four make sense for full households or tight timelines. Tell us what you're loading and we'll recommend the right crew honestly — more hands isn't always more total cost, because the job goes faster.
Do labor-only jobs include equipment?
Yes — dollies, straps, and door protection come with the crew. Moving blankets are included too; if your load needs more padding than usual, we'll flag it in the quote.
